Attitude
“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company… a church… a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past… we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you… we are in charge of our Attitudes.”
- Charles Swindoll
We hope you will have a good attitude today. Have a great day!

“There is a danger in the word someday when what it means is “not this day.” -Henry B Eyring
It is common for me to hear from clients the following:
“I know what I need to do but I just don’t seem to be able to get myself to do it.”
Perhaps you have felt the same way from time to time. I think that this experience is just part of the human condition and experience. We have all felt this way from time to time. One of the ways to help with us is to always remember that life can only be lived one day at a time. There is nothing so challenging that it cannot be dealt with one day at a time or one moment at a time.
THIS DAY is the most important day you’ll ever have!
THIS DAY you can do what is right.
If something has been bothering you for a while, do something about it today. You have already thought enough about it. You know what you need to do so just do it. Maybe all you need is a little nudge, here is that little nudge.
Trust yourself and in your ability to do what you need to do. This is a powerful idea for sure if you will but nourish it and give it your attention.

Ships are not built to stay in Harbors
The reason it is so hard to be happy is they always see the past better than it was, the present worse than it is, and the future less resolved than it will be. -Parcel Pagnol
Please remember that if you are trying, if you haven’t given up then you are in the process of becoming a better person.
I often hear from others how frustrated they are with themselves. They wish they were so much better than they perceive they are.
… give yourself a break and keep moving forward.
A friend of mine who is quick with metaphors once remarked.
“Life is a lot like going on an Easter Egg hunt in a minefield.”
It takes courage to live and face our weaknesses. Yes, this life is indeed challenging. Don’t give up on yourself and keep moving forward. Remember that a ship is safe in the harbor but that is not what ships are made for, so it is with us. We may wish to be protected from all the storms of life but it just doesn’t work that way. Prepare each day by doing your dailies and have the faith that you will be able to weather the storms that come your way.
Remember, you’re that ship that needs to sail.
Have a great day!
